2010 Paddy Byrne
54 players entered the 2010 Paddy Byrne darts tournament in Cashel on a frosty December 4th evening road conditions meant a number of players could not make the journey but their was still a big turnout for the event. Mike Naulty (Big Francies) became the ninth different player to win the cup now in its 16th year defeating five times winner John McGinley (Roartys) 6-3 this was John’s first defeat in the final of this tournament, Mike won the deciding match with a 15 dart leg.
Beaten semi finalists were Kieran Carr (Roartys) and James McGinley (Glenhead) and beaten quarter finalist were Raymond Hegarty (Sliabh Liag), holder Dermot McGuire (Glenhead), Anthony Gallagher (Roartys) and James Byrne (Sliabh Liag).
