Big Francies 7 Cope House 3

Big Francies put in a great performance to complete the double against the Cope following two defeats in a row with a 7-3 win in Ardara on Friday night, the host led 2-1 after the doubles and went 4-1 up following Mike Naultys 3-1 win over Irwin Muirhead. The Cope can move back into the top for next weekend if they can get at least a draw against Glenhead.

O’Donnell’s 3 Kilcar House 7

Kilcar House recorded a good win in O’Donnell’s on Saturday night, they were 2-1 up after the doubles and in the opening singles Raymond Hegarty came from 2-0 down to beat John Gallagher 3-2 he had a 14 dart leg in his win. Andrew Gillespie had a 116 finish and there were 180s from John Gallagher and Hugh Doherty.

Roartys 10 Glenhead 0

Roartys moved closer to retaining the Shield with a whitewash of neighbours Glenhead,  John McGinley beat James McGinley 3-1 in the opening singles, John had a 180 and James a 115 finish in the match, Dermot McGuire had two 15 dart legs.

2013 Knockout Cup first round, three matches to be played draw takes place this Saturday at 4pm in the Bridge Bar.

The 2013 Con Sean Darts Tournament

The 15th hosting of this event takes place in The Bridge Bar, Carrick on Saturday 19th January starting at 5pm. €600 in prize money and trophies for the winner, runner-up and highest checkout the format this year is changed open draws each round and matches to be played in the order they are drawn so all boards will be in operation at all times in the opening rounds this should speed up the tournament, contact James at 086-9969256 for enquiries.
