Glenhead 1 Roartys 4
Holdrs Roartys progressed to the semi-finals of the cup with a 4-1 win in the derby match in Cashel, Antony Gallagher defeated Gabriel Boyle in the opening match 4-1 and Michael Byrne made it 2-0 with a 4-2 win over Kenneth Byrne. Jason Cunnea pulled one back for the home side with a 4-3 win against JP Byrne before a 4-0 win for Dermot McGuire over Hugh Doherty and a 4-1 win for John Con McGinley wrapped up the match for Roartys. Ryan McNern v Kevin Squires and Barry Carr v Norman Fuller were the unplayed matches.

Bottom side The Bridge Bar put up a great show against O’Donnell’s on Friday night, Philip Gallagher got the away side off and running with a 4-0 win over David Kyles, Paul McNern tied the match up with a 4-1 win over Josie Gillespie. Noel McGinley defeated Noel McNern 4-1 before Johny Byrne tied it up at 2-2 with a 4-3 win over Jamesie Boyle. John Gallagher beat Francis Curran 4-0 before the match of the night resulted in a 4-3 win for Andrew Gillespie over John McHugh, Pat Cunningham v David Kennedy was the match not played. O’Donnell’s now play Roartys in the semi-finals.
