Bridge Bar 2 Big Francies 8

Big Francies moved back into second following a 8-2 win against The Bridge Bar, 3-0 up after the doubles Mike Naulty beat Adrian byrne 3-0 in the opening singles in a very good match both players had 180s and Mike had 16 and 18 dart legs and a 123 finish. John Murphy had a 19 dart leg and other notable result was Johny Byrne’s win over John Damien Gallagher. Big Francies play their final game this Friday against Roartys but require a big win to be in with a shout of winning the shield.

Glenhead 5 O’Donnell’s 5

In the comeback of the season so far Glenhead came from 5-0 down and without winning a leg in those games to draw a dramatic match against top four challengers O’Donnell’s, John Gallagher beat Jourdain Cunningham 3-0 in the opening singles and Jamesie Boyle had two 180’s and Andrew Gillespie had one for the way side who remain in fourth but with one game more played so depending how the Cope get on this Friday at the same venue bit sides meet in the last match of the season in a battle for fourth place.

Cope House 6 Roartys 4

Roartys suffered their second defeat in a row when they went down to a Cope House side who played their best darts of the season on Saturday night, Declan Cunningham beat Dermot McGuire 3-1.  Roartys are still in pole position to reclaim the shield for the third year in a row and seven points on Friday against Big Francies would secure them that honour. This result leaves the Cope in a great position to clinch a place in the top four.

League and B cup draws take place at 4.30pm this Saturday in the Cope House
