2024 Paddy Byrne

The Byrne Family would like to thank all that took part in last Saturdays  Paddy Byrne Perpetual Cup, it was a truly great day and night of Darts in the Glen. Congrats to Stephen Harron on retaining the trophy by beating Cartha Boyle 6-1 in a high standard darting final. Thanks to John Eoighins and Roartys for hosting the tournament, the ESB for getting the power back on, Anthony Gallagher and Norman Fuller for help with the draw, all the markers and checkers for keeping the tournament flowing, your help is greatly appreciated.

Congrats to Liam Mc Laughlin on winning the youth tournament by beating Keelan Mc Guire in the final, a new addition to the Paddy Byrne this year and one that couldn't happen without the work put into the youths by the Glencolmcille Singles League, fair play to all. Special thanks goes to Rossan Knitwear and the Mc Nelis Family as a whole for the sponsorship of the magnificent trophy and prize contribution this year. Today the 13th of December marks Daddy's 31st anniversary of his passing, he would be so proud and humbled that people would gather to play a tournament in his name so long after his death.
