2008 Benny Gillespie

Mike Naulty from Dungloe who plays for McIntires in Dunkineely won the 2008 Benny Gillespie Cup which was held in Roartys and Glenhead on St Patrick’s weekend. Mike defeated Biddy’s thrower and 2005 winner John McGinley 5-3 in a high scoring final, Glenhead’s Noel McDevitt and Roartys Anthony Gallagher were the beaten semi finalists, a total of 32 players entered on the day which provided a very entertaining evening of darts. Thanks to both bars and to all who took part and helped out on the day.
