In their final league match John Eoinins finally got a win on the board with a 4-3 win in The Bridge Bar, it was 1-1 after the doubles then in the first singles Hugh Doherty beat John McHugh, Jamie McNern beat Noel McNern in the two pointer to win the match, Kieran Gallagher beat Colm McGlinchey and Paul McNern beat Kevin McNern in the last two matches. This leaves the Bridge Bar two points outside the league shield playoffs with a game in hand against Kilcar House this weekend while John Eoinins B can look forward to the B final with confidence after this victory where they await either Bridge Bar or John Eoinins A.
