Thanks to all who came to the AGM on Friday night last in Kilcar House and shared their opinions on issues so hopefully if the new rules are enforced we will have a trouble free season, the rule changes will be on the website after the new committee meet up to word them out correctly.

One behalf of the league we would like to thank outgoing chairman Mike Naulty for all his help over the years and we wish him the best of luck in the future.
We have six confirmed teams: John Eoinins, Roartys, O’Donnell’s, Bridge Bar, Kilcar House and we welcome back The Rusty to the league, if any other team wants to enter you have until Friday 5th to do so.
Here are a few of the changes:
New doubles tournament in O’Donnell’s in November.
The two point singles match to be drawn out of a hat so it could be any of the six singles matches that’s worth the two points.
If the away team is in the venue at 9:30pm they get to practice on the board for 25 mins if they are there at 9:50 then is 5 mins etc matches to start at 10pm at the very latest.
Cup semis and final to be played on the one evening starting at 6pm on two boards venue will be drawn at the cup draw this will be drawn every year but without the bar that already hosted it, as there have been very poor attendances at matches this past few years we are hoping that this will make it a great evening of darts.
B Cup and Shield final to be played on same night at 7pm and 9:30pm followed by presentation and music this is also to try and get a bit of life back to the finals walk on music will also be available for the players the venue this year is John Eoinins as this is rotated from town to town every year.
The league will start on Friday 26th September.
