Roartys 5 Teague’s 3

Roartys defeated Teague’s in a close contest to reach the Shield final, trailing 2-1 after the doubles, Roartys went 4-2 up with John Con beating John Murphy 3-1, Dermot McGuire bt Michael Naulty 3-0 and Michael Byrne bt Kieran Gallagher 3-2 in a close match Michael had a 180. Mike Naullty beat Kieran Carr 3-2 with a 88 checkout he also had a 13 dart leg, Antony Gallagher beat John D Gallagher 3-0 to win the tie for Roartys

Kilcar House 5 O’Donnell’s 2

O’Donnell’s went into the singles leading 2-1 following the doubles, Kenneth Kennedy beat John Gallagher 3-2 in one of the games of the season, Ken had a 12 dart leg and back to back 180’s in that leg, John had 6 darts to win before Ken took advantage to tie the match up, Colm Carr beat Philip Gallagher 3-0, Raymond Hegarty beat Andrew Gillespie also 3-0 and Roger McShane wrapped up the win also with a 3-0 win over Noel McGinley.
