Kilcar House made it to the 2015 Knockout Cup final with a 4-1 win over The Bridge Bar in O’Donnells on Friday night, Kenneth Kennedy beat Kieran Gallagher 4-1 in the first match where he had a 11 dart leg and 180 but Kieran had darts to make it 2-2 overall it was a great match between two of the top league throwers. Raymond Hegarty beat Paul McNern 4-1 not a fair reflection as it was a tough battle Raymond had two 180s. John McHugh beat James Byrne 4-1 with a great display of darts. Adrian Byrne defeated Noel McNern 4-0 and he also had a 180 and to round it off Roger McShane beat Dessie McNern 4-0 to conclude the matches.

It was almost the upset of the season in the Bridge Bar where bottom of the league John Eoinins B were so close to dumping out the league leaders O’Donnells, Colm McGlinchey beat Noel McGinley 4-3 in the opening match, Andrew Gillespie beat Hugh Doherty and John Gallagher beat Jamie McNern both matches were 4-0 to put Rorys 2-1 up. Kevin McNern tied the match up a 2-2 with a 4-3 win over Josie Gillespie and in the final match David Kennedy beat Jourdain Cunningham also 4-3 with Jourdain missing out on the win with his shot just missing the double.
Well done to Kieran Gallagher who plays for The Bridge Bar on winning the Drimarone Cup on Sunday.
