Kilcar House and O’Donnell’s played out the first draw of the season following their rearranged match in Kilcar, the home side lead 2-1 after the doubles. Andrew put O’Donnell’s 3-2 up with a 3-0 win over Kenneth Kennedy in the opening singles match. Andrew hit a 116 finish and Raymond Hegarty had a 120 finish and John Gallagher had a 180.

Big Francies went top of the league following a 6-4 win in The Cope on Saturday night, leading 3-0 after the doubles Mike Naulty beat Declan Cunningham 3-1 to put them 5-0 up. The home side then won the next four games in a row to leave it 5-4 in the final match John Murphy beat Stephen Muirhead 3-0 to deny the home side a share of the spoils Mike and Nail Cunningham had 180’s, Paul Gillespie had a 99 checkout and Irwin Muirhead and Mike Jnr had 18 dart legs. In the local derby in Cashel, Glenhead put up a great performance against Roartys coming within one game of getting a draw, the home side lead 2-1 after the doubles before Kiaran Carr won the all-important two pointer with a 3-0 win over Jourdain Cunningham this match also went to the last match Dermot McGuire beat Barry Carr 3-1 to secure the win for Roartys. The other match of the weekend was cancelled by request by O’Donnell’s.
