John the Miners B sent holders out of the cup with a deserved 3-1 win on Friday night, Hugh Doherty Jnr beat Adrian Byrne 4-2 in the opening match, Jamie McNern made it 2-0 with a 4-0 win over John McHugh. Kieran Gallagher pulled one back for the holders with a 4-1 win over Paddy Haughey before Liam Donegan secured the win with a 4-1 win against Hugh Doherty, they now face Kilcar House in the semi finals next month.
