Great news darts fans with the return of the Norman Blaine Darts Tournament which in the late 80s and early to mid 90s was one of the biggest competitions in the country with massive entry's in the Glenbay Hotel until its last one in 1996.

Kilcar House will host a heat of the 2017 Red Dragon Champions of Champions and will be the only venue in Ireland to host the event on Saturday 24 June at 4pm, you must enter online be play NO NAMES taken at the venue enter HERE
How it Works
FREE ENTRY to every man, woman and child over the age of 14, in as many events as you like (child entries subject to landlords discretion on age).
Best of 3 legs all the way to the final. News of the World format.

Miners B take B Cup victory
John The Miners B 5 The Cope House 2
In a repeat of last year’s final John the Miners B got revenge for last year’s defeat with a trilling last leg win over The Cope House. Hugh Doherty and Jamie McNern beat Wilfie Milsop and Steven Muirhead 2-1 and Liam Donegan and Paddy Haughey beat David Gallagher and Irwin Muirhead to put the Miners 2-0 up after the doubles. Steven Muirhead beat Liam Donegan 3-2 in the opening singles but then Hugh Doherty beat David Spot 3-2 in two cracking singles games. Irwin Muirhead defeated Jamie McNern 3-0 to leave it 3-2 so it was down to the last match to win which was drawn as the two pointer where veteran Paddy Haughey beat fellow veteran Wilfie Milsop 3-2 to secure the win for the Carrick side.

Kilcar House win 2017 SWDDL Shield
O’Donnells 1 Kilcar House 4
Kilcar House overcame O’Donnell’s 4-1 in the Shield Final held in O’Donnell’s, a week after the Meenenery side won a trilling cup final and left them one win away from the treble it was Kilcar House that denied them the opportunity and get some silverware themselves to round of the season. They won the two doubles with James Byrne and Cara Boyle throwing good darts to beat John Menchia and Noel McGinley 2-0, Joe Shovlin and Kenneth Kennedy beat David Kennedy and Josie Gillespie in a hard fought win 2-1. John Menchia won the first singes 3-0 against James Byrne where he had a 180 and 13 dart leg, Joe Shovlin hit two 180s in one leg and a 13 dart finish in his 3-0 win over Noel McGinley. Kenneth Kennedy defeated David Kennedy 3-1 and hit a 136 finish to take the shield back to Kilcar House for the eighth time; Cara Boyle against Josie Gillespie in the two pointer did not have to be played.
